SERVICE CONTRACTS
CPS provides two Service Contract products that are designed to help prevent failure of your scanner where possible and to
minimise downtime in the event that something does go wrong. We aim to offer a value for money service and to keep our
contracts and service provision at an affordable level.

Service Contracts are available for purchase when your Standard Warranty period expires or when your Extended Warranty
period expires.

Please read the Extended Warranty and Service Contract Guidelines document (EW/SC GUIDELINES.pdf) carefully for a general
overview of the service cover we provide. Full terms and conditions are contained in our example single payment (Fixed Term) or
monthly payment (Rolling) agreements available for download below: FIXED TERM EW/SC.pdf, ROLLING EW/SC.pdf.

Two types of cover are available: Standard and Comprehensive. Standard Cover provides protection against breakdown and
includes all mechanical/electrical parts and labour, Comprehensive Cover includes an on-site service visit and many other benefits,
please see further details below.
STANDARD COVER (Key Features and Benefits)
– All mechanical/electrical components and labour (excluding bulbs)
– Return To Base repair and/or on-site (at CPS discretion)
– Repair coverage & telephone support: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
– Free Kodak (Creo) software updates where applicable
– 15% discount off Kodak (Creo) software upgrade RRPs
– PM service visits/problem solving visits @ £500 per day (RRP £700)

COMPREHENSIVE COVER (Key Features and Benefits)
All mechanical/electrical components and labour (including bulbs)
– Return To Base repair and/or on-site (at CPS discretion)
Loan Machine during repair periods if repair period is prolonged
– Repair coverage & telephone support: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
– Free Kodak (Creo) software updates where applicable
30% discount off Kodak (Creo) software upgrade RRPs
On-site Preventative Maintenance service visit (worth £700).
– Additional PM service visits/problem solving visits @ £450 per day

SERVICE CONTRACT NOTES All new machines include 6 months Standard
Warranty Cover and used machines include 3
months Standard Warranty Cover. If you are not
eligible for Extended Warranty you could consider
a 12 month Service Contract (Standard or
Comprehensive) to protect your scanner.
Monthly costs are calculated in 12 equal payments.
All products provided and payments due are
subject to CPS Limited’s Terms & Conditions of
Sale and relative Service Contract Agreement.


CPS DOES NOT GUARANTEE A REPAIR/FIX
WITHIN A DEFINED TIME FRAME BUT WILL
ENDEAVOUR TO PROVIDE A WORKING
SOLUTION WITHIN 48 HOURS (EXCLUDING
WEEKENDS) OF BEING NOTIFIED OF A
PROBLEM (e.g. SUPPORT CALL, ON-SITE FIX,
RETURN TO BASE FIX OR LOAN MACHINE).


IF YOUR SCANNER IS NOT WORKING OR HAS
A PARTS FAILURE OR ANY OTHER EXISTING
PROBLEM, THIS WILL NOT BE RECTIFIED
UNDER A NEW SERVICE CONTRACT.
SERVICE CONTRACTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE
FOR MACHINES THAT ARE IN REASONABLE
WORKING CONDITION. WE ARE HAPPY TO
COMBINE A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH AN
ON-SITE REPAIR TO HELP MINIMISE COSTS
BUT ANY PARTS REQUIRED WOULD BE
CHARGEABLE. PLEASE CONTACT US TO
DISCUSS THE BEST SOLUTION IF YOU ARE
OUT OF CONTRACT AND NEED A REPAIR.
